I read the other reviews and decided to give it a shot. I was hopeful that this product would be easy to put on and as described ...and It WAS!!!
Perfect fit, easy to put on, good quality material. I really like the fold-over velcro flap that covers the end of the zipper. That protects the zipper from opening which is great when you have bed bugs.

H) - Queen Size Just got it a few weeks ago with a new mattress. The mattress is 8" high and about an inch smaller on all sides than the standard 60x80" queen (the mattress is an Otis Haley 150) and this encasement was quite large for it. Since the surface of the mattress is a bit of a slippery polyester, the encasement slid around on top of it, making its vinyl-feeling backing quite apparent. I quickly adjusted this by putting a thin egg crate style topper on the mattress, and the encasement around the mattress and topper. This solved the slippery feel.
Also, when I first got the encasement I didn't wash it before using it, but after a night of toxic scents I washed it and all was fine. When washing, water seemed to bead off it like it should on a waterproof product. It did take a few low-heat drying cycles to dry it, moving it around between cycles to expose all of its surfaces to the air.
It was easy to put on our mattress - no snags with the zipper.

H) - Queen Size I had purchased another brand of box spring encasement on Amazon and returned it and the mattress encasement because it ripped while putting it on. I figured I would try the SafeRest based on the positive reviews. The material is much better than the returned item and it went on easily on 3 sides. The zipper was also impressive and it was packaged well. I have confidence that it will protect my box spring and my mattress. The item is a described and I would also consider it a premium product.
